3rd Underwater Demonstration in Defence of the Illes Formigues

The theme of this year is the protection of Posidonia as a source of life.
On Saturday 10 August 2019 the 3rd Underwater Demonstration took place to defend the regulation of uses and protection of les Illes Formigues and its surroundings.
This demonstration is organised by the Associació d'Amics de les Illes Formigues in collaboration with Gidive Center Palamós and two other diving centres in Palamós.
A dive was carried out at les Illes Formigues and afterwards the demonstrators hung a protest banner at les Illes Formigues to raise awareness of the issue and to call for Posidonia to be made visible wherever it exists so that it can be respected.
