3ª Manifestación Submarina en Defensa de les Illes Formigues

This year's theme is the protection of Posidonia as a source of life.
On Saturday 10 August 2019, the 3rd Underwater Demonstration took place to defend the management and protection of the Illes Formigues and their surroundings.
The demonstration was organised by the Associació d'Amics de les Illes Formigues in collaboration with Gidive Center Palamós and two other diving centres in Palamós. A dive took place at the Illes Formigues, after which the demonstrators hung a protest banner on the islets to raise awareness of the issue and highlight where Posidonia grows so that it can be protected.
