Setting off on foot from our centre, and less than 50 metres away, is Cala del Morro del Vedell. It is a cove with very easy water access, ideal for any diver. It is the perfect option to get back into diving if you have not dived for a while, if you want to practise your skills or if you simply want to dive at your own pace without rush.
Just on entry, we find a 3-metre-deep area ideal for practising our skills and adjusting equipment. Once past this area, we have various options. Follow the contour of the breakwater to our right (depth of 15 to 18 metres) or head straight on to reach the maximum depth (20 to 26 metres). During the dive we will encounter Posidonia meadows and rock formations. We can also find two compass rose figures that will serve as reference points for the return.
Marine life is very varied, and we can see moray eels, octopuses, schools of salemas, the occasional small grouper and lobsters in the deeper area.
