Discover Scuba Diving

Your first diving experience on the Costa Brava, in Palamós!

The Discover Scuba Diving or PADI Discover Scuba Diving is the first step in recreational diving training. This PADI programme includes theoretical training and a sea dive to a maximum depth of 10 metres with full diving equipment.
We carry out this programme on a personalised basis, with a maximum of two people per instructor.

You will be accompanied and supervised at all times by an experienced instructor in a controlled environment. In this relaxed and controlled way, you will experience the sensation of breathing underwater for the first time and will feel completely weightless. The Discover Scuba Diving is an activity you can do alone, as a couple or with your group of friends, work colleagues or family members.

Where and how is the Discover Scuba Diving carried out?

Requirements for the Discover Scuba Diving

• Be 10 years of age.
• Be able to swim.
• No serious health problems. No ear, respiratory or heart problems (if so, a medical certificate stating FIT for the activity is required).
• Not be pregnant.
• Not board a plane within 12 hours of the activity.

What does the Discover Scuba Diving include?

• Total duration of the activity: 2 to 3 hours
• Photographs of the activity whenever safety permits.
• Access to the PADI App, eLearning content and PADI Discover Scuba Diving certification.
• All necessary equipment during the activity.
• Insurance during the activity.
• Assistance from a certified instructor or divemaster.
