Do you know the Boreas wreck and its history?
In Palamós we have the privilege of being able to enjoy the Boreas, one of the best-preserved and most accessible sunken ships on the Costa Brava.
The Boreas is a ship 40 metres in length overall with a very special history, lying sunken just 5 minutes' sailing from the Port of Palamós. It was sunk in 1989 in order to create a marine biotope in the waters of Palamós. Its original name was Pellworm and it was originally a deep-sea tug of the German navy that served during the Second World War.
