Just about 100 metres to the east of the Illes Formigues we find this large rock formation called Gorgonias. Its name is due precisely to the great abundance of red gorgonian. It is a rock formation starting at 25 metres and reaching at its furthest point 45 metres depth. It is a dive suitable only for experienced divers.
