Practically in front of Platja d'Aro, we find a rocky formation called La Roca Roja. It is an imposing mountain, with its highest point at around 8 metres depth and descending to over 40 metres. The walls are covered in red gorgonians and home to abundant marine life.

We should pay close attention to all the crevices and holes, as we will very likely spot conger eels or moray eels inside them. We will also see sea anemones and a great variety of fish species typical of the Mediterranean.
