La Llosa de Palamós es un promontorio situado frente a la costa de Palamós. La orografía del fondo es muy variada y encontraremos grandes grietas y canales con anémonas, gorgonias blancas, sargos, espetones, escórporas y grandes bancos de castañuelas.
Cerca de la Llosa de Palamós también encontraremos restos de barcos y el antiguo faro que indicaba la presencia de la Llosa. Para niveles más avanzados, si tomamos rumbo 120º desde el punto de fondeo, nos encontraremos con los restos de un barco pesquero, El Cairo (34 metros). Podremos contemplar los restos de la estructura y si buscamos entre las grietas seguro que encontraremos un gran número de langostas.
La parte superior de la Llosa está situada a unos 4 metros y la más profunda a unos 28 metros. La visibilidad en los meses de verano es muy buena y si cogemos rumbo suroeste, encontraremos el Boreas.
