The Llosa de Palamós is a promontory located off the coast of Palamós. The seabed topography is very varied and we will find large cracks and channels with anemones, white gorgonians, white seabream, barracuda, scorpionfish and large schools of damselfish.
Near the Llosa de Palamós we will also find the remains of ships and the old lighthouse that indicated the presence of the Llosa. For more advanced levels, if we take a heading of 120º from the mooring point, we will find the remains of a fishing vessel, El Cairo (34 metres). We can contemplate the remains of the structure and if we search among the cracks we are sure to find a large number of lobsters.
The upper part of the Llosa is located at around 4 metres depth and the deepest part at around 28 metres. Visibility during the summer months is very good and if we head southwest, we will find the Boreas.
