Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this programme you expand your diving knowledge and improve your techniques to a professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership capabilities, qualifying you to supervise diving activities and to assist instructors with diving students.

During the course, you will acquire exemplary diving techniques, professional level diving theory knowledge, competence as a certified assistant

The course is divided into two modules (theoretical and practical) that progress simultaneously, in order to achieve a better understanding of the practical sessions.

Theory part: In the theory part, all diving theory, physics, physiology, equipment, environment, PIR… is studied. Work begins with the instructor manual and skills are developed in relation to underwater maps and briefings.

Practical part: The practical part of the course is divided into three distinct areas; confined water practice, assistance on an Open Water course

Course requirements

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent certification from another teaching organisation).
  • PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent certification from another teaching organisation).
  • Have completed a PADI EFR First Aid course within the last 24 months.
  • To start the course: 40 logged dives in the dive log.
  • To obtain the certification a minimum of 60 logged dives in the dive log will be required.
  • Hold an official medical certificate no older than 2 years.
  • Hold diving insurance (if you do not have one, we can arrange it).

What does the course include?

  • Duration: Minimum 12 to 14 intensive days.
  • Dives and air fills during the course.
  • Dives and air fills during the course.
  • Assistance from a certified instructor during practical sessions.
  • The necessary teaching materials (Divemaster manual, Diving Knowledge Workbook and slates) are NOT included.
  • The certification processing fees which must be paid directly to PADI are NOT included in the price.
