There is something new on the horizon. The PADI AWARE Foundation is introducing newly revised and easy-to-use teaching materials for the 10 Tips to Save the Ocean, and at last… eLearning.
This is exciting on many levels, as there are many more ways to convey the message that everything underwater is alive until you touch it.
Created in 1992, the PADI AWARE Foundation started with gentle fin kicks and evolved significantly in the early 2000s, reaching milestones such as the removal of 1 million pieces of marine debris, helping more than 30,000 entangled animals and introducing the 10 Tips to Save the Ocean.

PADI AWARE has been sharing conservation and its mission to rid the oceans of marine debris with everyone within its reach. It is important to note that a mission reaches only as far as the motivating voices behind the movement. We are all AWARE divers and must drive local action for global ocean conservation, and now we have new ways to do it.
The message starts with acknowledging the plight of the underwater world and orienting divers and non-divers to do something.
