The Tec Gas Blender course teaches you to blend enriched air Nitrox and helium mixtures using one or more blending methods.

How is the course carried out?

PADI Tec Gas Blender Course
The Tec Gas Blender course includes three theory/practical application sessions. During independent study and instructor-led review, you will learn:
  • The advantages and disadvantages of different blending methodologies.
  • To blend enriched air and trimix mixtures within one per cent tolerance of the target.
  • The potential hazards associated with oxygen handling and how to manage those risks.
  • To demonstrate the steps for oxygen-cleaning equipment, together with the requirements for oxygen service.

Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age.
  • Hold the PADI Enriched Air Diver certification.
