The PADI Tec Trimix 65 course allows you to enjoy the advantages of Trimix and qualifies you to carry out dives with multiple decompression stops, using Trimix with a minimum oxygen fraction of 18% as a bottom gas. You will extend your depth limit to 65 metres.

What will you learn?

PADI course Tec Trimix
The PADI Tec Trimix 65 course is designed to extend the depth limit of technical divers already trained and qualified to use air, Enriched Air Nitrox and Nitrox 50%, to dives using Trimix with a minimum oxygen fraction of 18% as a bottom gas, down to 65 metres.

What equipment will you use?

  • Twin tanks (minimum 12 litres each) with independent valves.
  • Primary and secondary regulator. One with long hose.
  • Wing BCD with backplate and harness.
  • Stage tanks for decompression gases (O2 and Nitrox 50%).
  • Dive computers capable of handling multiple gases and Trimix.

Course requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Hold PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent certification.
  • Hold PADI Tec 50 or PADI Tec Sidemount 50 certification.
  • Have logged at least 100 dives, of which at least 30 must be technical dives.
