Ready to go to the outer frontier of technical diving? The Tec Trimix Diver course turns experienced technical divers into Trimix divers, qualified to plan and carry out dives beyond 60 metres using Trimix as a bottom gas. It is the highest technical diving certification in the PADI system.

What will you learn?

PADI course Tec Trimix
The PADI Tec Trimix course is designed to extend the depth limit of technical divers already trained and qualified to use air, Enriched Air Nitrox, Nitrox 50% and Helitrox, to dives using Trimix as a bottom gas, beyond 60 metres with planned decompression.

What equipment will you use?

  • Twin tanks (minimum 12 litres each) with independent valves.
  • Primary and secondary regulator. One with long hose.
  • Wing BCD with backplate and harness.
  • Multiple stage tanks for different decompression gases.
  • Trimix-capable dive computers.
  • SMB, reel and slate for planning.

Course requirements


To participate in the PADI Tec Trimix course you must:
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Hold PADI Tec Trimix 65 or equivalent certification.
  • Have logged at least 200 dives, of which at least 50 must be technical dives below 30 metres.
