Technical diving means going beyond the limits of recreational diving and is intended for experienced divers who want to explore deeper, longer or in more challenging environments. Technical divers use specialised equipment, gas mixtures and decompression procedures not used in recreational diving.

What equipment will you use?
Technical diving uses much more equipment than recreational diving. In addition to standard recreational equipment, technical divers typically use: twin tanks, wing BCD with backplate and harness, dual regulators with long hose, stage tanks for decompression gases, and technical dive computers capable of handling multiple gas mixtures.
