Technical diving means going beyond the limits of recreational diving and is aimed at experienced divers who are prepared to accept the added risks, training, investment and commitment of its demands.

On the other hand, it allows diving in more inaccessible locations and exploring wrecks, caves or reefs unknown to most divers.

Technical diving involves one or more of the following characteristics:
  • Diving beyond 40 metres or in enclosed environments beyond 40 linear metres from the surface
  • Mandatory decompression stops
  • Decom

What equipment will you use?
Technical diving uses much more equipment than recreational diving, as technical diving equipment normally uses two, four or five regulators, a dive computer and various accessories.
