Between Palamós and Calella de Palafrugell, situated in front of the Golfet de Calella, we find a submerged mound known as the Roca de la Sardana. It is a rock formation starting at 15 metres and reaching at its furthest point 25 metres depth. It is a dive suitable for all levels.
In general, the seabed is rocky, with numerous cracks and holes. We must pay close attention to all these cracks, as we will observe coral formations, gorgonians and the occasional lobster. We may encounter large scorpionfish, white seabream and damselfish in the shallower area.
