Located almost directly in front of and less than two miles from the port of Llafranc, we find three fantastic underwater mountains called Els Ullastres. These are three rock formations that are completely submerged. In all of them the north face is the most interesting due to the presence of large red gorgonians. None of them presents any difficulty in terms of orientation, as the mooring buoy is always located at the highest point of the mountain.
Ullastre III is the underwater mountain furthest from the coast of Llafranc, its highest point is at around 8m and descends to 55m. The almost vertical descent of its north wall, covered with large gorgonians, will offer us a unique spectacle.
During the dive we will encounter gorgonians, sponges, nudibranchs, octopuses, cuttlefish and all varieties of rock fish: white seabream, salemas, gilt-head bream and occasionally sunfish and rays.
